Gofū – The Five Winds That Refresh Kishiwada

The Wind of Festivals, the Wind of the Port Town, the Wind of the Countryside, the Wind of History, and the Wind of Tradition – these five winds represent the essence of Kishiwada and are a source of pride for the city.
We hope that both locals, who hold their heritage dear, and first-time visitors to Kishiwada can feel the presence of these winds.
In April 2019, we proudly reopened Gofuso, a designated Tangible Cultural Asset of Kishiwada City, offering a refined dining experience where you can savor authentic Japanese cuisine at a relaxed pace.
We invite you to enjoy the luxurious moments that can only be experienced at Gofuso.

Gofuso, a Designated Tangible Cultural Asset of Kishiwada City

A modern Japanese-style building with a strolling garden located beside the southern moat of Kishiwada Castle.
Originally built in the early Showa period as a villa for the head of the Terada family, a prominent business family.
It was originally named \”Minakiso,\” but was later renamed \”Gofuso\” in honor of the posthumous title of Rikisai, the founder of the Terada family.
